Fit it in five steps

  1. Clean the surface and let it dry.
  2. Measure the length you need.
  3. Cut the strip to that length.
  4. Peel off the backing from the sticky edge.
  5. Press it firmly into place along the door or frame.

Shut the door and check that the flap rests on the floor or frame along the whole gap.

Questions people ask before buying

Will it stop every draft?

It covers gaps from 0 to 15 mm with a soft flap, which helps block drafts and dust. It will not cover gaps bigger than 15 mm, and it does not make a door airtight.

Will it stick to my door?

It sticks best to a clean, dry surface. Wipe off dust and grease, let it dry, then press the strip firmly along its full length.

How much do I need?

Each roll is 1 m (about 39 in) long and 45 mm wide. Measure each gap you want to cover, then add up the lengths and cut the strip to fit.

Where can I use it?

Door bottoms, door frames, door edges, windows, sliding doors, cabinets, drawers, furniture and appliances. Any suitable surface with a small gap.

Does it keep out bugs and noise?

It covers the gap, which adds a barrier against dust, moisture and small pests, and helps cut some noise that comes through the gap. It is not pest control and it does not soundproof a room.

Which colour should I pick?

Pick the one closest to your door or frame: transparent, white, grey, brown or black. Transparent is the least visible on most doors.
